Since most of the info of here is for f4i's and the search sucks, i need a few tips. I threw in a bunch of questions so i don't have to make many threads:

1. I just cut off 7 inchs off the back of my cf yosh tri oval exhaust. I used a band saw with the cooling fluid(stupid). All the packing is wet. Should i replace the packing now? If so, will any packing from a local store work?

2. I looked at my tip sensore and it seems to only be for when you put it on its side, not when doing 12s. Are all tip sensors like this and should i still disable it anyways?

3. I'd like to make a manual switch for my fan, and if posible have it wired in so that when i am just riding in the city it still works like stock. Anyone know how to do this?

4. Do 03 gsxrs(600) have problems with oil going into the airbox on 12 bar. I am learning right now so it will probably be on its side a lot. Should i put in a small bottle in between the crankcase and air box to to be safe or gsxrs don't need it?

and 5. What is the best way to access the idle adjustment? I read something about using 1/4 sockets extensions. Is this the best way? Any other ways to have easy access to it?

1 if it were me i would just put the pipe back on it should be fine. but im kinda dumb and about the tip sensor disable it most tip sensors are that way..

 

----packing will dry w/heat
---disable the tip sensor now with glue/silicon/toilet paper or whatever ya got, bike will die on its side and on the bar....
----put a sponge were that hose comes into the airbox to catch any oil.
