Scraping 12s

I am 6 up in the back.. I can ride bp and am pretty good at using the brake but i can't seem to scrape 12s. I hit it one time when i clutched it from a stop and just said f*ck it so i keep on the throttle till slammed it into the ground. How do you bring it down slower and scrape?? do you pull in the clutch?? Help me out.

Most people either ride the brake and gas down till the scrape (generally this is the newb way) or scrape off a coaster.... I prefer the second hands down... Scraping off a coaster will give you more braking power, keep the brakes cooler cuz your not fighting the motor, and give you some clutch action after the scrape...

In other words scrape off the coaster.

Re: Scraping 12s

get some speed goin.. throw it back a little behind bp.. let it engine brake back.. then give it a little brake and when it hits give it a bit more brake.. don't slam the brake

+1 off the coaster.Bring bike beyond balance point pull in the clutch and use the brake to bring it back slowly, scrape hit the brake a little more to come out of it and catch it with the clutch.
