question about really long endos..
question about really long endos..
For those rolling at BP anything over 400ft.
When you initially bring the endo up do you let the rear wheel keep spinning
..or.. do you tap the rear brake to stop the rotation.
Just wandering if one way or the other is better for steering the bike.
Thanks.

Re: question about really long endos..
keep the rear wheel spinning.... bring it up to balance point in a high speed stoppie and tap the rear brake and you'll be kissing pavement. Ask Gorka

Glad I asked first then! I always tap the rear brake right before I sit a endo back down... never tried taping the brake when I was really moving with some speed.. guess its a bad idea

Re: question about really long endos..
I keep it spinning, i feel that it works kinda of like a gyro that helps (yes help, majority of the steering and keeping the bike straight is still on you) to keep the bike in line.
Tapping the brake right before you put the wheel down (if its still spinning) stops it so that there isn't that annoying jerk/noise where the wheel and chain is suddenly stopped from hitting the pavement.
