Learning Stand-UP Wheelie

sup guys. i been riding 1st n 2nd gear sit down for a while, and now is ready to learn stand ups. should i start praticing in clutchin in 1st or 2nd? and what speed or rpm should i slip it?

don't give him bad advice...


first is easier, more engine brake, and u're not goin too fast.. u're just gonna have to learn on your own, take baby steps, start clutching more n more n more.. and try to also learn with brake, so clutch it up, tap rear brake.. practice practice

I also liked learning staggared, when I tried to learn with both feet on the normal pegs I felt like I was falling off the bike backwards, when I put my left foot on the passenger peg it just felt like I was standing up and holding the bike in front of me, not that I'm the greatest at standups, but I can rock the highway for miles :-)

definately 1st gear staggered, but not from a stop. 15mph or so.

read the wheelie guide at the top of this forum
