Talking Merk step's help

Ok, my idle is around 3000, now when i get it on the bar and start to run with it, i cant get it off the bar if i pull the bar brake to much it stalls out and drops down, if i let of the brake a bit it wont lift of the bar.

How do you lot keep it on bp when running with it???

Also, when doin merk steps from stand still, do you still use the bar brake or just clutch till it comes back to bp then back on the brake???

I'm trying jumpin to spreader first, is it best trying jumpin to seat stander first???

Thanks for your help and sorry for so many questions

Turn your idle down to 1,000. That is why it won't come up off the bar. Jump to sser first before jump to speader. It will help you from stalling and busting your *****. It isn't a hand brake trick. Push forward.

Re: Merk step's help

I would just clutch let the idle catch jump off and feather the hb and squeeze little more to make it start going down and jump on. I couldnt do it the other way without hb

Re: Merk step's help

Uhm I do em, and I do em with High Idle, and just use the brake... simple...
The handbrake that is, but I just never let the bar hit the ground... I just still do a idle wheelie, but only then I'm running after it... So cause it's just a normal wheelie, I can brake as hard as I want, or give it more gas if i want to...

Simple, just don't do the merk steps scraping.... Just do em wheelie :YEAH The way they should go...
