rear shock for learning wheelies

any suggestions on what a good pre load is on the rear shock when learning wheelies

ya Ive heard stiff, however, I found it easier when it was set a bit softer. Bike comes up easier when its set on stiff though.

When the bike is past bp and you hit the brake, the rear suspension compresses. You want to minimize that.
