Re: Another Circle Thread

i just started doing circles, 2000 idle, when i lean it in and try to keep ti too high it stalls, if i dip it a little lower it seems like it would lowside but swings around real nice with a good amount of throttle

+1...and lower idle. I also had my brake pedal too high. lowering it helped alittle.

Re: Another Circle Thread

I've only gotten three complete one's so far. When I do I'm just creeping around on the idle @ 2,000. I'll go out tonight and work on the gas to whip it around.

Re: Another Circle Thread

For me getting my hand off the throttle and then only worring about the rear brake, idle and body postion helped alot.....But now I can circle better no throttle hand than regular

Re: Another Circle Thread

High idle smoothes out my attempts. Gave up on staggered O's and tried sit downs - getting a 1/4 + to the left. Went back to the standups a bit later and it felt easier to drop the bike in (moving at about 8-9mph now and going to right).
then ran a out of gas! Mouse-trapped over the left bar.

Moving weight to opposite side and then back to centre helped a lot. Bike leans, and I dont keep putting all the pressure on the outside peg anymore. First 1/4 is cool then it goes a bit oval!

no stop being a p ussy and give it gas, and turn that damn idle down, and smoother on the brake, i moved my brake down too a lot so i'm not accidentally scrubbing it..

i think the problem with most people crashing circles is they dont know when to stop, if i start to highside i'll stall it and try again. if feel like i'm getting so low i might wash out i pull the clutch in and set it down.

i feel like working on keeping a good lean angle / throttle and brake control is more beneficial to me than worrying about how many circles i can get in a row before i crash, knock on wood i haven't tossed a circle yet, and i've only had to bail to the side of my bike once..

every day i get closer and closer to being able to turn in and do as many circles as i want consistently anywhere anytime which is my goal then i'll move on to seat stander and other combination circles

Re: Another Circle Thread

1 week is hella fast !! I just started practicing them, and I do them seat stander... For me it's the most comfortable position, so that's why I feel like it's teh best way to practice them...

I Got 2,5 circels after maybe 3 hours of practice... Just don't be afraid of the gas... But hey, I'm still learning
