Wide or Narrow clipons

So I gots the FI clipons and they're turned out pretty good for me. I'm wondering if I should pull the ends in farther. They're way out there already, with like 1.5 inches inside the mount on the fork tube. I'm thinking of trying to move them in further, because I got room to work with I think. This a good or bad idea? I know about the leverage for stoppies and all that too

Wider plus mount em upside down on the opisite sides.
/O=O\ < but make em straight out like Dirt bike bars. ima flip my stock clip-ons and swap em to opisite sides n see if it'll work with full fairings.

Re: Wide or Narrow clipons

You shouldnt really need to flip fi clip ons, as there at 0 degrees, and can mount on top of triple. I cut mine of from 11 to eight inches. I dont have a handbrake right now, if i get one on i will prob have to buy new tubes for more room, but those are cheap so no biggie.

i cut mine to 9" which is what my stock bars were.and turned them out alittle, the main benifit is the angle up rather than down

Re: Wide or Narrow clipons

i've got woodcraft, the angle is very slight upwards, and it just makes the bike feel so much better than stock or even 0 degree.

I have mine flipped and upside down and not completely straight but out more than stock, easy for pull throughs, seat standers, anything, even sit downs feel good.

I kept the end of my bar to mount my handbrake for more leverage, check it out.

Re: Wide or Narrow clipons

I got a very similar setup, my MC sucks for the handbrake but there might be a little air in it still.
