Re: Best sprockets?

Yea, that could be harsh if that fell off. I almost put mine on backwards once at like 4 in the morning after working on it all night, that would have been interesting.

Re: Best sprockets?

hey wheeliest,

theres a front sprocket nut recall on the R6s. call your dealership, and have them slap a new one on there for ya.

Re: Best sprockets?

goto a shop. they have a catalog, some bikes they don't make large stock pitch steal sprockets, they make it in 520 aluminum most likely.

the biggest 532 steal rear sprocket for r6 they make is 50tooth which is +2 but aluminum i could get like a 71 tooth

Re: Best sprockets?

I need some help here guys. I have a 02 f4i i think the stock sprocket is like 46t. I was wondering if you guys would have any idea if i went 4 up on it how it would affect my top speed. And what should i go on my front sprocket. Also i understand how a bigger rear sprocket gets the bike up easier, but what does going smaller on the front sprocket do. how many teeth can you go up and still keep the same chain. lastly what is the difference between a 520 or 525 or whatever it was. thanks for the help guys.
