stoppies

stoppies

so i'm gettin into practicin some stoppies, but the last time i went out my tire would only hook up every other time or so, im just kinda nervous that its gonna wash out when the back tire gets up there pretty high and ima eat it hard.. what are the chances of this happening

get a newer tire and make sure it's at a good enough temp when you're trying stoppies. that should help. make sure you're not grabbing so much front brake that it's causing the tire to lock

once the tire is up its not gonna wash out, theres no chance, its when you first grab brake to get it up. Its happened to me a bunch of times and its pretty scary. Find good pavement and warm up your tire. also try giving a little bounce to help pop the back up, dont bounce too hard though when your learning or else you'll be FSP.

sweet..thats all i was worried about is the tire washing out when the back tires up..i think i'm just grabbing to much brake at the begginging of the stoppie...
