do i need to take my 929 exhaust valve out?
Re: do i need to take my 929 exhaust valve out?
you have to make a little metal bracket to hold the valve open, i can take pics later tonight or tomorrow and show you what im talking about.
u have to leave the servo motor plugged in otherwise it throws the FI light at u. just tear all the other **** out though, its useless.

Taking that valve out does absolutely NOTHING.
Racers take it out for maximum top end exhaust flow... for a stunter it will give you no benefit. You WANT more back presure for low end response.
Don't even start the idle argument, cause it dosen't fix the problem.
And if you search old threads on "954/929 idle problems", you'll see that plenty of guys who took the thing out realized that the bike runs like sh*t without it.... and ended up putting it back in.
My
advise... don't worry about it.
