Nice weapons(colts and armalites), but considering the RRA's and what not are usually more then half the price for the same quality........ You can get a sweeet RRA and mount up a nice ACOG and a few other accessories. Or get a niice RRA, a AK47, a nice mossberg500/remmy870 12 gauge with ammo for all for about the same price as a colt...

Olympic is also good as well, and you can buy a nice m4 style AR for about 750 if you look around.

What he said. Rock river, DPMS, and Bushmasters are great guns. The COLT is what serious collector/shooters probably want just cause its a COLT but these other models are well made as well. Im fixin to pick my buddy up a DPMS with picatinny rails, 4 position adj. stock, and the add on carry handle sometime soon, so im fixin to be shootin that sometime. LOL. Hope you get a good deal.

Re: ar-15

Superior Arms bought out rock river but I might be mistakin on that. Good Brand though. Fixin to build me one up. My pop has an upper that he isnt using so I figured I get a 4-6 position collapsible lower and mount that on it and see what else I need to fix it up.

Those things are nasty. Gotta love something almost as small as a carbine, that'll shoot accurately passed 800 AND have the power to make use of the ability to get out there...................

Re: ar-15

Nice, thats the SOCOM 1 right. I havent really paid to much attention to them since there hella expension. LOL.

Yeah I finally sat down and looked at the upper my pop gave me and its just a plain ol A1 style upper. Nothin fancy whatsoever but it'll be a fun gun to go plink off some rounds and he's got some nicer ones that ill get one of these days so for around 250 for an AR, it aint that bad. LOL.
