Re: Bulgarian AK 47

thats a nice gun. I have a romanian wasr-10 ak-47 which i love. only problem is the 7.62X39 ammo has been a little tuff to come by lately. sportsmans guide is always backordered, just something to consider before you dump that kind of money

Red River AR? Do you mean Rock River?

And thats a good deal on that m82. I've seen them go for 10 grand, up to 25g's for one that was used in desert storm..

Oh, and 7.62 is coming back into stock. I've heard 2 main reasons for the lack of it was the Iraqi army is getting stocked up, and russian ships were docked for a while due to ice..

Yea dont let it happen again or I'll have to go chuck norris on your ***.

Haha, anyways. Rock river has some nice AR variants. Personally if your not gunna go for a full on m16, then a Bushmaster is pretty much just as good (or so I have come to find out..), but for a better deal. A bushmaster or RR with a 16 or 18" barrel and 6 pos. telescoping stock is high on my list of rifles to get, basically a m4carbine or something of that nature.. Cool thing is theres so many parts out there you can build a NICE one for about $600...

Re: Bulgarian AK 47

that particular rifle your lookin at is a nice AK clone and the milled reciever is a big plus. its not authentic in the way of no bayonet lugs and a non threaded barrel with a muzzle break pinned on. if you want something more authentic but just as reliable get sam 7 pre-ban style rifle. its just like the ak the bulgarians use. its as close to those as you could get even down to the 90* gas block but without the 3rd sear.
