In Florida you're not required to say anything, and it's actually against the law for the police to ask if you're carrying if he/she does happen to see your ccw permit.
I've had mine for a couple years now, and carry about 90% of the time. Only problem I have is that on a bike, if you want to go into a city building or federal building...there's no place to store your weapon, and if you ask the security guard to hold it for you, they get a little upset.

Perfect. My bike got stolen last september. this time i'm getting lo jack, an alarm on bike and in the cover, kryptonite lock and a smith n wessen. All i need now is a ccw.

CCW Everywhere, got mine in MI, it's good about anywhere now, more and more states honoring it now.
Never had a problem with the police, always told them, never been hassled, just ran my info and let me go.
In the car or on the bike,always packing heat, had to back it up a few times too, but that's for another day.

I've had a CCW in GA, FL, and i also have one for MI. Getting one in Michigan is a pain in the *** compaired to most other states. Gotta take a safety corse which can run you 70 to 150 buck depending on where you go. And it costs another 105 bucks to process the paper work with your county.
Never leave home without some kinda blade and my Glock 23.
I also have my ATF C&R license which gives me the title of Collector of curios and relics. Any weapon thats on the ATF C&R list or is 50 years or older I can have shiped to my door.

I got mine here in TN about 7 years ago..... I consider it a great priveledge, and take full advantage of it. $50 every 3 years(to keep it renewed).....and I think it is soon gonna become harder to get one.
I got the info at the last gun show How My Permit is valid now in alot of other states too. It didn't used to be that way, but it's cool..... you just have to stay up on that info , if you're gonna travel, and know the laws (where you can carry) in each of the states you are gonna be in.

PA is easy if your record is ok. Im in SC now and my permit wont transfer and now I gotta take some test, even though I have a PA permit guess they dont trust PA's judgment down here.
