retro stunt bikes

gonna be looking for a new stunt bike through winter before i absolutly trash my c1h (its not far off) there is a section about the cbr600 f3 1996-1998 on stuntbums

good points

cheap,steal frame(can be welded),apparently its amlost indestructable

bad point its carbs but i can make do with that

anybody know of other older cheaper bikes that are good to learn on??? id prefer a 600 but im open to anything that isnt gonna brake as much as the c1h while im learning cheers

Re: retro stunt bikes

I wrecked one outright, the other one is still alive (just) I think!! Def cheap enough to get started on and plenty of parts out there for em!! I paid less than 400 for my first one, even with the carbs on I learnt BP on it, and changed to an f4i at the right time and everything seemed easier!! Def worth thinking about as a first stunter!!

I don't suppose you've got any spare rearsets for ya c1h you wanna sell me???

Re: retro stunt bikes

F3 frame + 636 motor = ultimate stunt bike Read the thread and look at the pics/video on the last couple of pages

http://stuntride.com/vbstunt/showthread.php?t=14827

Or you can buy a static moto frame for your 636 and not have to worry about it breaking

ha mine are fucked mate if i had some id send em =)

ill have a look for an f2 for prices and that

The f3 and 636 engine does sound like a good idea ,that could be a project for next year.

mates got a pit bike i should be able to lend =)

The static frame might be the way to go tho i mean if im gonna spend 1500 on a new stunt bike then changing the frame to an idestructable one and then keep all my original parts and still have my c1h may just be the way to go has anyone used one?
