thinking of putting them on my f4i but i have a 929 front end and it has an angled top yoke
so my question is whats the easiest way of getting risers on there ( and cheap)
and any other mods ill have to make i.e cables and stuff

 

 

flip the clip ons man they look sick on an f4i with a 929 front end.

 

i had my top triple clamp machined down flat and then had aluminum blocks tig welded to the triple and then drilled holes through the blocks ..... i'll zoom in on a pic so u can see...

as far as cables ..... throttle and clutch will fit fine .... front brake lines i'm not sure i have steel braided lines ... never tried stock ones

ive got lsl tag risers on there already just want dirt bars if ive got no fairing and most of the best riders have them so they must be good for somthing

I wanted MX bars, but flipped clip ons, and i LOVVVVVVVVVVVVVE them

 

cant flip mine because of the lsl things i have already , i dont have original clip ons
i had dirt bars on my r1 fighter and loved them

 

Original 929 clipons go under the triple and can't be flipped or they would be way too low.

 

i reckon, ill fit an old pair of bars i have laying about, and then we swap complete front ends mate, and cash my way (about 300) and then you can have bars
