Gauging interest - Dirt bar yoke for 05/06 ZX6R Front Ends
Hey all, new to the boards, and I was sent over here from ZX6R.com because they said that you guys might be more interested in this. I want to know if there is a point to making 15 or so of these sets. If I get enough people that want one (+30 units) I might even get them cast instead of CNC'd.
I am thinking about getting some time on a CMM and CNC machine in order to make a top tree for 05/06 ZX6R front ends. I'm not super hot on filling the stock trees with epoxy and through-bolting risers to that.
My plan is to make take the measurements so that the top tree will bolt right up. I want to make it out of flat 3/4" Aluminum stock. Anodized black or clear. Really simple, with a similar design to the ABM stuff.

It will be basic, without the risers or bolt holes so that we can choose our own, but will still allow the ignition to be kept in the stock spot. It will be waaaay less beefy than the Hohey set, but more substantial than a stock piece.
I want to hit the $200+shipping price point for the yoke in Canada and the US.
Would anyone be interested in this? Otherwise I'll just make one for myself and not bother with building a few dozen.
Who is interested? Let me know so I can decided what to do.
Thanks guys
