Re: ants spot this weekend?

2K stops me slamming it to hard, but i will take in your advice on not turning it up.

High idle was what caused me to crash at elvington, Well that & not hitting the back brake.

Cheers 4 the hospitality Ant. Every one of your launches sounded better n better, getting the revs/clutch consistant.

i learnt with the idle up thats cos on the first day i got fed up of smashing my nuts into the tank trying to ride a four cylinder 600 like a single cylinder 125 chop chop chop

Re: ants spot this weekend?

Im with Joe87 on turning the idle up, not just cos of my throttle control but my arsehole makes me close the throttle right down when im past 45 & that wont change until im used to being at bp without breaking some bones.

Now im learing the back brake the idle wont bite me at bp

Cheers 4 the hospitality Ant. Every one of your launches sounded better n better, getting the revs/clutch consistant.
My pleasure mate, thanks for coming.

Re: ants spot this weekend?

I just need confidence at balance point, if a high idle will help me get that without slamming the front down so often im all in favour.

My Program

1st Step- Seated wheelie, launch to under 45 degrees & learn to bring the front down on the back brake.

2nd Step- Stagered wheelie, launch to 45 degrees & learn to bring the front down on the back brake.

3rd Step- Turn the idle up a bit more, launch the nose higher and control with the back brake

4th Step- Win StuntWars 2009 - piece of ****

Your problem ant, is that you think too much stop thinking about it and just relax, ride and have some fun

Re: ants spot this weekend?

Carlos- i sent you a pm yesterday about the 62T, bike top speeds & stuff. Did you not get it Kev Carbon turned up at the weekend, he's trying to get his spot sorted asap, sounds good so might be worth a visit.

Sparks- I talk about stuntin more than i practice for sure, coz i can't stop thinking about it , but im happy with my setup & learning now so your not going to hear any more winging out of me
