Re: Omr Subcages!

Love the Old Man Roger brand name.

Wanted to change Subcage

But now i want to change Sub Frame first, then we can move onto changing the cage name

Which fool is responsible for naming the sub frame?

Re: Omr Subcages!

Sorry Dave,

but

Bike has main frame, therefore anything else that attaches to it is a sub-frame, ie front sub-frame (or faring bracket as some muppets on ebay call it) and rear sub-frame holds the tail plastics and seat. Therefore OMR's sub cage is like a main cage (attached to the main frame) but actuall a sub-cage, which attaches to a sub-frame

Geddit?

Damn, Old Duffer beat me to it

Re: Omr Subcages!

sub frame lending to sub cage is correct, so thats why sub frame need changing

Subframe is not 1: under : beneath : below <subsoil> <subaqueous> or 2, 3 etc.

Therefor its wrongly named.

Rest my case :YEAH

Re: Omr Subcages!

it is a sub-component of the frame you dick wad

hence subframe

i.e. it is
2 a: subordinate : secondary : next lower than or inferior to <substation> <subeditor> b: subordinate portion of : subdivision of <subcommittee> <subspecies> c: with repetition (as of a process) so as to form, stress, or deal with subordinate parts or relations <sublet> <subcontract>

read other post's properly

end of subject

Re: Omr Subcages!

Subordinate - thats such a weak link.

fairing frame isn't called sub

I still maintain my original point, a better description would be rear frame or seat frame.

Re: Omr Subcages!

I would l;ike one, but i said i'd help Pez out and buy one from him.
But if for some reason he cant get them, i'll put a order in

The main reason for me going sick sub cage is cuz i have no rear pegs at the min and sick have soild big rear pegs witch i like after riding Tee rex's bike

Re: Omr Subcages!

I too like solid rear pegs, but with the RR having a weak subframe I'd rather the pegs fold up in a crash. Only ever really done rl and rear peg stuff when I had a subcage so dunno if I'll have problems with folding pegs.

OMR has the nicest looking design (and price) which made me want one.

Re: Omr Subcages!

Also omr rotates the pegs on their axis so they don't fold in a wheelie.
