Re: blade problems

I can't believe the amount of damage from that one drop!! wasn't even going that fast!! I was right behind you when it happened

I dropped mine FAR worse today (that SS'er drop) and didnt get nearly as much damage, don't know why your cage didnt hold up??

freestyle on the f4i is proper good.. but on the 900rr? hmmm

Re: blade problems

i think its a problem with the blade i broke my engine mount a mounth or so ago it sucks having to drop the motor out, ive also done the big ends on two other engines(forgot to keep the oil topped up) when i can get round to it im going to get a bar welded between the two mounts might help to transfer a bit of the load, but probly wait till i break it again

Ye that's what i'm doing to my f4, ali bar welded between the mounts with threaded bar all the way thru.
those mounts aren't up to stuntin abuse!!

Good idea that Chris,or even a length of tube with threaded bar would be good? my scrapeworks cage links the two mounts together and is well tuff

Re: blade problems

what we need is hardend steel 10mm threaded studing
but u would prolly have to drill out the m10 threads in the engine
but would the cage bend more easy cos the longer material ?
sounds good tho as i ant got any thread left on the right hand side of the engine any way
