Re: The 'Punisher'

Why does anyone care.. lets all be happy and invest in pork pies and pasties!

There was a polish bloke who worked on site at the last job we were on, he spoke pretty good english and he was an alright bloke, he paid all his taxes and was fully legit etc so he's cool in my eyes.. but anyway, his english was funny..

there was this english bloke doing the suspended ceilings and he was a grumpy **** who kept having a go at us for nothing, he came in one morning and started shouting at us because we were working in the area he wanted to get to, so he went off on one..

the polish bloke steps in and starts saying

"hey, ceiling man, be happy!"

needless to say ceiling man didn't like it and told him to shut up or he'd punch him... so polish bloke kept saying "ceiling man, ****in *****"

We also taught him to say "**** Southampton" ... problem is he lived in southampton and went to a pub in southampton with his girlfriend and started saying **** southampton and got chased down the road by some angry people

Moral of the story...

Er.. don't tell angry people to be happy.

No wait, that's not what i wanted to say moral of the story is pies and pasties taste nice and make people happy but they also make you fat so don't eat too many.

I still say its a sorry site with sorry ppl on it and the worst part was that they started slagging off Eddie Kidd, which is real cruel and above all sick, amoungst all the other horrible things they were saying in general.

If u dont stand up 4 sumthing u believe in-regardless, then what do u have 2 believe in? That i am saying as entitled 2 my own opinion.

If that punisher cake could give and every1 that did-then u can take.
But let them be them miserable selves, every1 is a happy bunch here guys, doesnt take blood 2 make family.

I'll type this really slowly ... they don't give a **** about stunting or stunters!

And Ghosties' post just proves the few ****wits on that site that really are anti-stunt because they think stunters are ****ing idiots are actually right! And since when was going 170mph ****ing stunting anyway?
RIGHT: I never said anything at all about how we are being victimised as a group. I never siad they're picking on stunters. i just pointed out that people will openly express opinions in the extreme on a forum, but would not do so in a face to face conversation.

Also, I never said anything about 170mph stunting. but on the whole I'd say general stuning on roads is quite safe compared to 170mph on the wrong side of the road with a car headed towards you. Obviously they are both dangerous, hence the comparison, I'm not saying they hate stuning just because its stunting. I didn't post anything offensive did I? So next time you feel like having a little moan at someone, do it elsewhere, because I don't need it.

****ing everyone chill. Tis a forum and a few posts, this does not effect your life.

Re: The 'Punisher'

good lord do you think that people are unhappy these days or what....

this is the bible according to a control freak called glingglo

1 any one who rides a motorbike, be it stunt race cruise road track whatever gets all my love its all dangerous and skilled....

2 i love riding motorbikes, the look, smell sound... so do you so do they

3 i have respect for all types of machines (except goldwings) race bikes, supermotos customs, dirtbikes etc etc think so do most people on here

4 we get victimised by the law by the fact that we are an un-supported minority, plagued and persicuted cos we are an easy target... we are easy cos essentially we are passionate and think for ourselves which is why we filter, speed, race, stoppie, slow down in 30 zones, crash, wheelie, go to work in the rain and enjoy it, but above all, as bikers we choose our own path THIS IS WHY THEY HATE US COS WE CHOOSE OUR OWN ROUTE AND DO NOT TOW THE LINE IN THE FACTORY OF BULLSHIIT CAR OWNERSHIP ROAD USER DRUDGERY WITH LIFELESS CAR ADVETS PAINTING FALSE PICTURES OF THEIR ABILITIES ONLY TO BEE STUCK BEHIND THE NEXT CAR SWEARING AT THE PERSON WHO JUST CUT YOU UP AND MIDDLE FINGERED YOU AFTER YOU WATCHED THE AD AND FORKED OUT 40 GRAND ONLY TO FIND OUT THAT YOUR SUPER LIFESTYLE ENHANCER AND SOCIAL STATUS SYMBOL IS NOTHING BUT A CHAIN LINK!!! ...... ITS ALL LIES AND we just ride past them all and off into the distance

I am saying all this cos im paranoid and i think president bush puts hate in our water!!!

Stick together oh yeah.....

all you need is love

Re: The 'Punisher'

You know that actually made sense, well until near the end and then the medication started wearing off i guess. I read all the ***** on visor down and to be honest i`m disapointed in everyones action on there. I think everyone had lost the plot for a minute. If it upsets you then don`t go on there.

i just like winding them all up. im not to fussed if the stunt scene dosn't grow that much it just means there's fewer people doing our thing. im not hating on car park riders or road riders you do what you wanna do. i know my style and thats what i do so **** em. visordown is gay and always will be.

but getting personal is just stupid!!!
I'm not getting personal, I'm trying to make sure we're all taken seriously and I'm trying to make sure everyone knows that most people really don't give a **** about what we do. They truly don't care.

Let's take a simple example of why it's not worth bothering with them...

We'll pretend I've never met you, or anyone from AWOL, and I've not met Billy or anyone from Ruffneck, all I know about either is what I've seen on VD ... I get a phone call from one of my mates who works as a stunt co-ordinator for films and TV. They're shooting a scene for James Bond Casino Royale (yes, they've finished filming now but it's a perfect example because my friends did do the stunts on it) where Bond comes riding through a street stunt scene ala the Ace Cafe. Now, there isn't a single person on the Stunt Register who can 12 a bike, do circle wheelies etc. (this is true, too, barring about three guys they're all moto-cross riders, and those three guys are only at the stage of just finding the balance point, rolling small stoppies and doing basic doughnuts) so they need a handful of people in the scene to do the job. You get close to £400 just for turning up - each day! And it's rarely just one day's work... - then at least another £1000 to do the stunt itself.

Who am I going to recommend? Who am I going to put my reputation on the line for? I've been asked in the past to recommend riders so it's a damn good example.

Or someone asks one of their bike riding mates if they know anyone who can put on a stunt show at their event. If it's not a bike event then you're looking at a minimum on £2500 for the day. Who is that person going to recommend? If they're on VD what is going to be their one and only impression of the two teams they've heard of?

Word of mouth can make someone's career - it can also kill that same career stone dead.

The general biking world don't care about stunting. To the vast majority of them we're just ****wits on stolen bikes who have absolutely no talent - no better or different to joyriders in nicked cars. And what does the scene do to change that image? Goes onto non-stunt sites then *****es about them not liking stunts. How's that any different to someone coming on here and telling us we're all ****s because we like stunting and not what their passion is? And worse still is that most of the people on that site aren't anti-stunt anyway - but they are sick to death of having stunting rammed down their throats.

There are some real arseholes on that site, but they're not worth destroying your own image and reputation over by reacting to their bullshit.
