Side wheelies....

Ok so this weekend my bro borrowed his bosses Raptor 660R and we we out stunting it. Anyways well I started doing side wheelies and I got them down pretty quickly. Well I was on the right tires and because of how the weight leans I could only go left will I wanted to see if I could go right by leaning it more to the right. I don't know if anyones following this but I was just curiou if this is kinda hard cuz I can not do clockwise circles on the right side wheels with the left in the air.

Yes, ride it a couple more times and you'll get it down

Re: Side wheelies....

he said he was on his right tires with the left in the air trying to go clock wise..thats not so easy....

it is easy to go on the left wheels with the right in the air counterclock wise but to do what he is saying is not possiabl i dont think....i mean you can get it to go in a clockwise direction but not in a complete circle like you can counterclock wise...

i could be reading everything wrong

Re: Side wheelies....

no you're reading it right thats what I was doing. I was on my right tires and the left were in the air and I was doing clockwise circles why is that impossible?

I think you are reading it right, but It's possible either way you look at it.

to do a perfect circle in that direction with the side that was in the air would mean you would turn the bars slightly right ...and that cause the quad to go that way slightly but not a perfect circle like you can do if you were doing it the oppisite direction.......but hey who am i to say it isnt possiable.....who ever thought you could take your hands off and still ride a wheelie????.....

I can turn either way on two wheels... you just gotta bring it past the balance point...maybee not a "perfect" circle, but i can definetly circle the $#!t out of it either way on either side, although running with the right side up seems to be my preference

Here is a little clip of what you are talking about. If you have trouble viewing the video, make sure you have Windows Media Player 9 or at least the 9 codecs.
