Re: Grab bar

It's very simple to build 12 bars for a quad. I you have any experience with tools, and have access to a welder, chop saw, and a drill, then do it yourself.
One tip for if you do it yourself. After fabricating and mounting the sides of the bar and guessing the length and angle, take the quad out and scrape 12s for awile. Then weld the plate on.

Re: Grab bar

I don't have any pictures of the ones i made. Just go to the hardware store and buy a peice of stock steel somthing like 4' X 2" X 1/4". Then chop, chop, and you have a 12 bar for about 5 bucks. It will be much stronger than the stock one.

Re: Grab bar

On a quad pretty much anything you weld to the grab bar will work. You don't have to worry about it being perfect for ballance or anything like a bike. Get some 1/4 inch steel. If you want mad sparks get titanium, but it's slightly more expensive.
