depends....i might have this backwards but here we go....

the lower the number of teeth in the rear gives you more acceleration...the more teeth in the rear gives you more top end.....or something like that....

My front sprocket is a tooth or two lower, and I have a noticable amount of low end gain, cut back on my top end though

Naw, you're backwards Steve Less teeth in the front and more Teeth in the Rear= More Low End. More Teeth in the Front and Less Teeth in the Rear= More Top End. I have the Z 1down and 1up. Awesome for Stunting. I don't know how much top end it takes away though. Me and my dude ran ours at the track and he ran the same MPH as me and he had a tooth down in the front and I was Stock at the time. Like 69mph. I don't know how much that'll vary Tooth to Tooth. He's got 2 up in the rear now, and another Z we ride with has 2down2up on his! It's all about Stuntin' Baby

1 up front = 3 in back. It depends how long the drag is? If you never hit your top speed were you drag it go down 1 tooth on the front. If you top out and he passes you go one up in the front. The front makes a bigger differance and at 1/5 the cost.
