They are made to get wet but not be submerged, sounds like water got someplace it shouldn't have and caused some damage

whole top end..piston, rings and bore .20 over prolly..change your oil in yoru diffs tranny and motor.and drain yoru carb

dirt and water in your engine....i submerged my 4 wheeler in a lake did the same thing....

ok,, lesson #1 if a vehicle is submerged in water to the extent the exhaust was completely under water,, CHANGE THE OIL immediately. never let it sit. at least drain it till you can afford a new filter and oil if your broke. Lesson #2 POssibly not a garuntee you may have dropped a float needle into your carb. the symptoms sound somewhat like what happens when a needle wiggles loose and drops into your jet on the carb. Runs Jerky. low acceleration etc.. i hope for your sake its only the carb issue. if ya got water in the block and didnt change the oil. Anything is possible internally. Sorry to say. Hope everything works out for ya RPM. keep us informed as to the progress of your repair.
