So ALBA makes race ready 450 4 stroke engines, where could I get a new 250r engine, CT Racing makes hop up parts, but not complete ready to run engines. Where would I find something like this.


Backstory: I got bored at work today and tried to figure out how much it'd cost to build a 250r from the ground up, I can't find an engine.

 

you'd have to find either a complete engine on Ebay, or build one piece by piece

 

People have forgotten about 2 stroke engine building....most of your H/P and power characteristics are in your porting...so get a motor and send the cylinder and head to a reputable company to have it ported/polished....they may assemble the motor for you too but they are not going to keep 2 stoke motors on the shelf because they will never sell...
