Re: Proper circles?
Quads??? You should see your mom circle a lunch buffet! Talk about lean angle she climbed under the glass and ate out the table.
This isn't for anyone inparticular just wanted to make jokes n' jokes n' jokes

Re: Proper circles?
Quads are bad *** when you're an all around Freestyle, Motocross, Trail, Stunt, Plow Your Driveway For Free, Kind of Rider.
A rocket can't do backflips or hardley jump for that matter and I've seen fourwheelers wheelie just as fast as the majority of the bikes out today, with exception of the hyabusa but if your riding one of those your a fagget anyways.
Don't hate on the quad stunters you'de probably go home fucked up after a day of riding with them. You dumb ***** are making an argument over who can balance better on less wheels I don't think that turns your girlfriend on a whole lot. Now go ride some damn wheelies on whatever the hell it is.
And for the record I had guys rolling 600ft endo's and can't rock a wheelie on my quad for more than about 5 feet. So your theroy just went out the window

dude, quads are fun, no on is debating that, however if you want your word to be taken seriously, and your coming from a qaud background, don't expect the one wheel guys to listen.
if you buddy really couldn't wheelie your qaud for **** he must be a slow learner
they practically wheelie themselfes. Re: Proper circles?

Re: Proper circles?
A bunch of the guys I ride with can do circle wheelies. The only thing is that they are doing it in flowing water. The current spins them around.

Re: Proper circles?
jiiisius.. whats goin on with all these newbies tearing up the quad section??
big, round style tires. like at least 22" knobbys, on a wide offset wheel... you should prolly compensate sprocket size for the additional tire size...
and you start out in a side wheelie dumb-asses... and lift it into a wheelie.. as far as keeping it balanced, good luck... but the additional width should help a lil keeping most of the quads weight above the "bp"
only problem is this... you gotta know right where you want that quad to be (angle and height) BEFORE you try this... cuz when quads land on their side, they break **** pronto.. lol... or at least bring a few extra sets of bars and levers with you...
i think it can be done someday, but it will require a lot more balance and skill than a circle on a little dirtbike...
i have been able to ride out a one- wheeled wheelie for aprox 30 ft or so before, by pure luck, no skill involved at all... but if i were to take the time and set up my quad like i stated earlier, and maybe have someone help me hold it up to determine aprox where i want it to be in the hypothetical "circle wheelie" i might be able to pull it off... but Chad's right, quads have a lot of unbalanced weight and its very possible whoever tries this, is gonna burn thru a couple of quads before getting it right... but i still say tires are gonna be the biggest factor in this... you need round ones... and i know, all tires are round... i mean a round "profile" like the old 3-wheelers came with... those would be perfect...
ok, im done here...
