Need to vent....
The weather this weekend was awful and yesterday afternoon I decided to just head out for a quick little 5 minute ride just for the hell of it.
Anyway I stopped and chatted with a few friends, then when I left I headed acrossed the street from their place to play in a little field since I knew I wasn't going to be doing any more riding.
I got out there and just started throwin some basic wheelies, then a few creeping. Well they wanted to see more action so I went to throw a legs over wheelie....It started out really good, but after about 100ft or so I hit a big dip in the field (2nd or 3rd gear....not sure which). Well the quad came up on one wheel for a second and then it went all the way over. Somehow I ended up in front of it. Witnesses tell me that it flipped once and the tire came down and hit me in the head. They say that it flipped 2 more times then took a big jump up in the air and came straight down (upside down) and landed right on my back. I don't know how it ended up hitting me twice, but I know I felt it.
I came out okay, but the 400ex is not in great shape. Of course I bent the stupid steering post and the handlebars, but I also tweeked the plastic and broke it in a couple spots. The headlight assembly broke out and came flying out of it in pieces and it seemed to tweak a few other mounts and things like that.
Luckily I was right acrossed the road from a friends shop, and he got it in there and with some force got it ridable again. My stearing post is still a little bit bend and my bars will never be the same, but what really bothers me is the plastic. It's got a few cracks in it now, but like I'm sure you all know, once you mess it up it's hard to get everything to fit right again.
Well, I just needed to vent....Thanks for listening.

Damn dude, sorry to hear about gettin roughed up with your 400. That sucks! :o I didn't have your # so I had no way to get ahold of you this weekend. I went up to the pits with the boys on Sunday. We had a blast. Jeff didn't ride though cause he wrecked like a couple hundred feet from the truck.
Thanks for the support guys. I appreciate it.
I'm glad that I didn't get hurt, but I'm pretty ripped that I messed my quad up. The steering post and bars don't bother me too much, but the plastic does because after a crash (as I'm sure you know) it's hard to get everything back into place where it belongs.
Oh well, a little crunchiness never hurt anybody I guess!!! :p
