Thumbs up

There you go man....

I want to see somebody switch to a backwards wheelie while the tires are already in the air.

I know there are people out there doing them...I just want to see it.

that is f'n bad *** man!

Switch backs are so ******' hard. My brain won't comprehend being backwards & using the brake clutch & gas. Im workin on those, although i am no sittin' on the seat - im standin so the bars are between my legs (I saw it in the ruff ryders video - so im tryin' it)

Thats bad ***. Kinda wish I bought a 400ex cause my quad never goes off road, just stunts on the street.

Cool

Yeah, the EX's deffinatly make stunting a hell of a lot easier. I started out with a Banshee and after too many close calls and no progress I got my EX. Damn, what a difference.

Never driven a Raptor though.

As far as switchbacks...as long as you got room in front of you they aren't too bad. For me, the best technique is to get your quad rolling so have the RPM's up near the meat of the power band, THEN switch back on the move and nail the gas. That way you don't have to mess with the clutch.

I really want to do the switch back while I'm already in a wheelie though .

By the way...nice pics and vids.

I came real close to buying a 01 yellow ex - instead of my raptor. But it isn't liquid cooled & doesn't have reverse. From time to time I do a small amount of riding - but 95% of the time Im on the road stuntin'. The 660cc power works great to yank it straight up.

Keep it stuntin'

quad stunter insanity

You all are looking good.
Don aka Crashndent from Geared up is probably one of the best quad stunters around. There is nothing he hasn't done.
highchair switch backs, standing on the front guard and pulling it up and a few more tricks. He gets insane. check him out at Geared up.com,.net or .ws. not sure which one it is.

first gear, popping the clutch from a dead stop....

the girls, im embarrased to say i dont know lol!!

yeah we know don, rode with him at stuntfest...another incredible atv rider is bill dixon with road hazards, he has a blue raptor

I personally have an 02 raptor, you have to do more stuff to them, to keep em running at 12 o'clock, but the power is definately a plus!!! also the brakes are way better for stoppies

thomas

oh yeah, not having reverse is a ****, I think the new zuk 400 will emerge as the quad of choice for stuntin, a little more power over the 400ex, the same smoothness, and reverse.... still aint no match for the looks and power of the raptor!

switchback wheelie

Therriault from the CVBz (www.cvboyz.com) does his switchback wheelies in 1st with a slip of the clutch on his EX to get up there. He seems to look at his grab bar to judge how high he is.... seems to work for him.

killaweee sweet!

Thanks Lanphear!! I totally forgot about that pic! It's sweet for sure. Too bad Therriault went stunter to racer! Most the time riders turn from racers to stunters. F**kin sally... I hope he reads this and realizes what a stupid **** he is for not stuntin anymore!

This is the little punk up at Swanton
