Any tips??

Whats up guys,me my freind and his dad go to upstate once in a while.
so my freind rides a blaster, and his dad rides a crf450,and i ride a crappy quad!!
So my second time ever on a quad its an automatic so i aint got no clutch!
But i was doin burnouts and ****, but i was tryin to wheelie!!!I was putting my left leg on the cage kind of a stand up position because there is no bar so i was in first. i was just getting it up there and going like 2 feet but then it would just drop!!lol

so guys next time we go can u give me some tips on how to wheelie this thing so i can skill it!!

this is the quad i was riding!!

is a full on automatic or a shifting automatic ?

if its the 2nd one.. hold up on the shifter and rev her up and let the shifter down .. instant wheelie
if its full on auto .. stand on the rack and pull and gas her

Re: Any tips??

I do wheelies on my yamaha timberwolf 230. I have to start from a dead stop and really jump on the back rack and nail the throttle to get it up. It also helps to hold in the front brake and shift your weight so the quad starts to roll backwards and then do what i described and you should have no problem.

Re: Any tips??

it has a hand rear brake right? and if the rack is there that will work fine if you 12 it, it should stop you

Re: Any tips??

i think ur best bet would be standin all the way on the back rack with both feet if u said that made it come up. if u really get that scared just jump off and the rack should keep the wheeler from tippin.. and with all ur weight on the back its easy as hell to balance. practice practice practice

Re: Any tips??

it doesnt really matter if you do grass or street, but i like street better because it wont loose traction before the front comes up.
