I believe its really another reason. She just made the excuse about your age.
She probably doesn't want you doing fun stuff w/o her. She could think your not giving her enough attention, and see's another thing keeping your attention away from her.
btw, I'm not that type of person, but I see other girls that way.

Ah, she chilled I think she got the hint that i'm not quit'n anytime soon. Plus I let her ride and now she wants one. Maybe I will give her the 300ex and get the 400 for myself....!!!

I race a Raptor, got an E-Ton Viper for my oldest son. One day I conviced my wife to try it as it's fun to fool around on:
She got hooked and wanted a big one for herself.
Got a roadlegal GasGas450 Wild for her birthday and haven't heard any complaints since! Except maybe that we don't ride often enough!
