Re: Japan did it!!

Foxgirl, if you were serious about that, it wouldnt be hard. You could move there and work as an English teacher and make a lot of money in the process.
Ive considered doing it myself, but Im not sure if I could get used to living in the big city.
It would help too if you spoke Japanese, something else that you could easily learn. Ive been studying Japanese for about 18 months now and I can handle myself in a conversation. Its not as if its hard to learn, it just takes time.

Incomparison to the the US payment rates, yes alot of money...but sustaining yourself on the Japanese economy is another story. It puts you at about the same as the Japanese minimum wage....but if your smart with the money then it works. My partner in Osaka owns an English school and he makes the big $$$'s the teachers do not. And I know about 40 teachers in this area of Tokyo....most of them struggle to get by. It's not all it is cracked up to be sometimes. But if you get the right place at the right time then...maybe!

Very true. Living in Japan is expensive. A while back there was a list of the world's most expensive cities to live in and Tokyo and Osaka were #1 and #2 (I think, dont quote me on that).

I had a (built) Banshee for about 3 years and rode it on the street all the time and that thing was just as good as any four stroke I've owned.

As long as you know how to maintain the thing and mix the gas right I'd go with a Banshee for street riding.

I'm not a big fan of Raptors but 700cc with fuel injection should be cool.

From what I've heard quads are street legal in So. Dakota, but thats not enough reason to move up there.

Yeah here too! And they do not require special licensing so anyone with a drivers license can cruise a fiddy except for the highways the limit there 125cc.
