we'll see where this goes....

First, let me start off with a big " " cuz this was prolly pointless...
here goes...

Went to a Monster truck show. Yeah! It was , they had the fuktards from my hometown crook shop (www.rochestermotorsports.com) trying to look cool racing on a mini dirt mx track on the 'ol quads... after every heat they would run down the stip where the monsta trucks were, trying to do wheelies to impress the crowd. The announcer dude totaly did not care about the quads, infact, i think the only peeps that did, were all wearing helmets that night...
anyway, so after the show, i get the bright idea to go over and talk to the guy that promotes the show (also the guy who is the announcer)
I intoduce myself, and ask him if he is looking for any new talent for next year. He just kinda looks at me like "and you are???" and I hand him my "card" which has the web adress on it, and said something to the effect of "im sure you have internet acess, so when you get a chance, check out a couple of the vids I have on there, and let me know if you would be interested in setting something up for next year."

prolly nothing will become of it, but i figured it was worth a shot. Then, as I got to thinking about it, i dont have a quad anymore, so the odds of me being able to help him out are slim to none... doh!!!
hey, i try to stay in "the game" lol...
Im like the old guy at the club, who tries to dance, but has no skill... i need to stay home... hehe

Must be the same show headed our way Sept 16-17 in Madison Wisconsin
Moster trucks and some quad group called Un-Loco(or however the F*** you spell it in spanish) Along with Bike stunt groups Hocus-Pocus and Vertical Mischeif Crew

Maybe they'll put a little kids pool in the arena and you can ride your jetski around in it

i dunno about that... this one just had the "local" boys from the dealership in town racing their quads... no stunts...
they did have team "flesh gear" there doing freestyle jumps, and also the "ball of death."
possibly the truck show itself is the same tho...
and about the jetski, i have no skill on that...
thanks for the support tho... hehe

The quad races they have at these monster truck shows are staged races. They have a predetermined "winner". The riders are supposed to keep switching positions throughout the race to make it look exciting and are told to show off for the crowd.
I'm not bashing these expos. I have actually hooked a few people up with these in my area. The riders usually get $50 for their efforts, get to sign autographs, and basically just have some fun and get some exposure for quads.

Barry, maybe you can start racing quads and work your way up to monster trucks, your monster truck would never get locked in to a beach area, and if you did have to run over a fence you could call it a publicity stunt and write it off.
