its all about confidence.....don't think that you can't. once you get the hang of it at first it all will fall into place. weather its riding or stunting its just about knowing that you can do it. it helps to have someone with more experience helping you along the way too.

Ya know whats funny, is that I bought my GIXXER and didnt even know how to turn the damn thing on..LOL Getting it out of first and turning it was the hardest for me.. After I got into second it was fine... Also, cars flying by me at 60+ scared me a lot.. And always the fear of dropping it.,.. Oh how imbarressing., I havn't done it in awile, but now if I do, I say to myself "what a dumbass" and laugh it off..

Exclamation

Take a motorcycle safety course! See if your state offers something. The hardest thing to learn on a bike is 1.) Getting out of First 2.) Remembering the whole steering thing, its not the same as a car 3.) Self Control

Good Luck!

It was so long ago for me that I don't remember.
My advice is to take it slow and don't ever assume that you are fully in control of your motorcycle. As soon as you get over confident, your bike will remind you that anything can happen.
Respect the machine or it will hurt you.
Good luck, have fun, and be careful.
