Big words are a lazy persons way of verbal intercourse. Once you expand your vocabulary, you can twist the words to make things seem better than they really are too...my favorite big words are mayonayse and watermellon

 

i think this is the first time i have disagreed with you. i really don't consider reiteration a big word. but hey i see nothing wrong with some verbal sparring on occasion. i would rather be able to ream someone verbally using more colorful words than the typical 4 letter variety. any ol fool can use those. and in no way is it lazy to learn.

 

never said the learning part was lazy...the actual act of speaking in larger words is...Why would you say more than one word to describe somehting when one word does the same thing just as well? I do it because I don't like to take the time to think of three words when one will do nicely.
