Question SV Question for TrickChik

Gina,
first of all, happy b-day.

i gotta couple questions about the SV650. i've heard the front cylinder is in danger of running dry during extended wheelies and 12's. have you ever run into this problem? if so, how have you counteracted it? i've heard that you can run some sort of external oil return valve...
i'd like to know so i dont screw up my girl's bike. lol

I have never had any problems with mine. I overfill it with about half a quart of oil, and I really don't wheelie very far. If I'm practicing twelves, I'll do a couple then ride the bike around and do something else for a few minutes. I have never wheelied anywhere but the dragstrip and a short road in an industrial park, the people having problems are probably out doing long highway wheelies.
