Whats wrong??

Hey, i just bought a pocket bike today, 47cc. It was running good for the first little bit, but not even done my first tank of gas it started to act up. If i gave it over 3/4 throttle it would stop accelerating and would die if i held it there. It only went with about half throttle. Then i shut it off and it is a super pain to start now, it really wont start.

Does anyone know the cuase of it bogging down with to much throttle?

Re: Whats wrong??

could be a couple of things one you might have air in your gas line, two the folt in the carb could be out of place. u might want to run 25:1 gas to oil ratio or mess with the tuneing screw dose the bike leak at all if so it the carb anyother qustion just ask

Re: Whats wrong??

i get good flow of fuel when i romoved the line from the carb( so no air i think). i have mess around with idle, still nothin. The updated problem is: As soon as you turn the throttle past half(estimate), the bike dies. When i ride it it will go very slow because you can't turn the throttle. And this bike only has had one tank of gas through it. 25:1 ratio.

Re: Whats wrong??

i adjusted the float so that it gets/ keeps a slightly higher level of gas in the carb. Works great now. No bogging.

Re: Whats wrong??
