Re: Street Legal YZ450f Build
Suspension wise all I have done is turn up the compression and play with the rebound settings. In the next couple weeks I am getting the suspension sprung and revalved.

That's a straight hooligan bike. I tried to go to the gas station one day with my number plate on and I got pulled over within the first 5 minutes.

Re: Street Legal YZ450f Build
Tell me about it, I have cops try and pull me over all the time here. But by time they turn around i'm gone, not worth the hassle waiting to get stopped. The police dont chase bikes here, they are not aloud to, witch is lucky.
You just cant ride this bike even slowly without it wheeling everywhere, i love it. Just wish it had a bigger top end speed.

Re: Street Legal YZ450f Build
I put a handbrake on the bike a couple weeks ago. It's a rekluse adapter and a Nissan 1/2" master that I bought from Ryan Moore. If anyone needs a handbrake for a motard order it from Ryan and you will have it in a couple days with excellent customer service. After nearly a month of not riding I got to try it out yesterday. The handbrake felt good but I need to get a better rear caliper for one finger lockup. My 636 has the hohey four piston setup with a brembo 16x18 so I am used to that insane braking power. To bad hohey doesn't make a setup for the yz450. My bike is geared +2 in the front and -7 in the rear which works great for the twisties but sucks for stunting.
Here's a couple pics.

whoa, he had enough time to pull his fingers off and still catch a balance point stoppie before the pick was taken. He mustta been flirting with the balance point for a while.
