That's what I am thinking. They looked good in the catalog at cycle gear but I don't really like them on the bike. I'll probably use the white for track and the blue for street.

I just finished the bike and went for a test ride. It was the most fun I have had on a motorcycle in a long time. I'll post pics later, right now I have to go christmas shopping with my girl.

I have a plated and tagged crf450. It is the most fun you will have on a bike.. One suggestion.. Just taker off the plate all together. You cant ride these bikes in a "normal" fashion lol. I love it because here in newmexico we have alot of different terrain. You can be goinng on a major highway through the city then hity a patch of dirt off to the side that connects to a bike trail that connects to a drainage ditch to a side walk to a hop on the curb to a flip a bitch whenever the **** you ffeel like it.. YOU GET THE PICTURE lol

I was going to mount the plate back behind the tire but the area I live in has tons of cops and they give tickets like crazy.

So I got the chain block mounted so that the tires won't get all chewed up.

Re: Street Legal YZ450f Build

I had a lot of touble when I was putting together my bf's supermoto. We went with the Warp 9 set and the tires don't get chewed too bad with the chain guard. Bought a lightspeed chain guard and it's been hanging in there for a while now. Bunch of other cheapie guards we bought broke away and didn't put up with the 3 up sprocket he put on. We had a lot of trouble ordering from motostrano too. They sent our stuff way too late when we paid for 2 day air, sent the tires even later, and didn't include the spacers needed for the Yz426 front wheel. Don't think I'll be dealing with them anytime soon

Thanks...I don't care if the tire gets chewed, all I wanted was to make sure the chain didn't hit the rim. This thing is going to get me in so much trouble. As soon as I left the house I jumped a hill next to a church and then rode wheelies every time I took off from a light. It's too much fun to ride normal.

I got my wheels from motostrano but it took 16 business days when I could have just ordered them from QTM (cycle gears supplier) and had them at my house in 3 days for the same price. They also sent the wrong brake pads and the communication was horrible.

Yeah those guys don't run a tight business. Customer service is horrible. They never gave us our money back for the expensive shipping either.
