I'm thinking about going up a few teeth on my kx250f, And I was wondering if anyone on here has geared up their motard? If so how many teeth did you go up?

i geared up my KTM 450 motard to 60 teeth...bought the sprocket from vortex..

I went up 5 on the rear and down 1 on the front of my YZ250F. You dont need to gear them down unless your doing circles. You dont really need to gear it down then but it make circles more manageable....

I want a 60 rear sprocket to my crf 450. But vortex just have 54.

Cheapest way if you can't get a 60teeth vortex or custom sprocket is to get the largest "standard" sprocket you can. They ussually make up to 53teeth which should be enough if you go down to a 11,12 or 13 teeth front sprocket
