I have realized something
So lately.. people have seen a new side of Daryl "Droptop" ... One of not wanting to fight.. even people that hate me I still say and I mean I wish the best for them...
So with ryan leaving this earth so soon... Have u had the chance to take a look around and think... Some of the things we fight and argue about.. how pitfull they maybe... sometimes just dumb...
I have made my mind up.. that I am staying in a neutral postion in this whole stunt world thing.. People can bash me all they want.. people can love me...but no more drama...
We were in the garage tonight getting bikes ready to roll our for ryans memorial tommrow.. It was great.. to see everyone there.. all kinds of people.. just working together for one cause.. even tho chris takes for ever putting on a sproket. "joke" compared to me... its all good.. the girls seem to support us even tho they dont like it all the time..
That is one thing about the Detroit stunt riding community...It is great.. Ryan has brought us all closer to show us what it means to be one...
I just wanted to type this cause today made me see that all that pitful stuff in the past means nothing.. I hope that one day that we can all be friends and get along.. things are so much better when there is fun and not war..
I didnt type this to point anyone out.. I just am saying that I am starting to see a better attitude in everyone.. and I love it.. I hope that we all grow and help each other!!!

Re: I have realized something
I have this Dream....
That one day all michigan stunt Riders will become one large family. Kinda of like when u go to Florida, U see all the teams together at dinner after shows and competitions. They are like one large family. I know there is always conflict in anything in life. But we all have one common goal here in michigan and that is to make this sport mainstream.
I am not inncoent at all. I have started trouble and said things in the past that I probably shouldnt have about people and teams. And I have also had things said about me.
Fighting takes alot of energy I just dont have. Imagine if we all took that energy and put it into the sport in michigan.. 20+ stunt riders working for one common goal is better than 3 or 4 on each team trying to out do each other.
I am not picking sides and nor do I wanna. I am staying out of drama.. I Just wanna ride my bike with everyone.. Espically the pros. They say if u hang around good riders u will get better faster.. And damn.. I must say since I started practing wheelies I am hooked...
Dont get me wrong, everyone is an individual and everyone will always disagree on somethings.
But to be honest none of us are getting rich off of this stunt riding thing. Some of us have chosen to take it to a perfessional leval. With making DVD's and getting sponsors and the list goes on and on.
Back In the days I came from Scooter Trash. I remeber all the good times. there was none of these wars. Just alot of drunk people at parties and lots of boobies and video cameras and lots of fun times.
Like all things some things must end but the fun should never end thats why we are in this sport. The only thing that should end is the drama.
We all know that certain people are better riders than others... But let me ask u this.. Doesnt that person who has went out and put in time and practice. And gotten hurt deserve just as much recognition as the next. I know that it hurts to hit the ground. And I know all the pros have been there at sometime. Sometimes the worst stunt riders become one of the greats like CBO.
This year has been a wide awaken with me. Alot of good things have happened to me personally. Lots of beefs squashed with Scooter Trash, And I rode with Critical Mass Last weekend and they assured me everything is perfect.
So This was a long speech.. But I have a dream that I will be able to invite every stunt team to spots, shows, and events, and it will be about a good time. I have this dream that I can invite every team to AUTORAMA to setup a booth for free just to have all the teams there to show support for the sport...
I dunno know if any of this is possible.. I just know I miss all the good times that everyone used to have.
As Preacher would say dropt the drama... Preach the love of the sport..
Im out!!!
