Ok folks, the date for this years event has been confirmed.

It will be held on Saturday, August 27th at 1pm. Location: Cycle Pros Motorcycle Shop in Rochester

10% of the proceeds go to Epilepsy Foundation(Adam's brother had Epilepsy)
10% of the proceeds go to United Way
10% of the proceeds go to Muscular Dystrophy
70% of the proceeds go to a fund setup at US BANK for his daughters college fund.

I'm not sure how much it will be yet, but I think around $10 which covers food and drink and the motorcycle group ride.

Flyers will be handed out this Sat at the FMS show at Kline Suzuki and in Cottage Grove at the Rodeo.

hey goose, i think that is a saturday phil has to work (and i dont know if the gixxer will be back together by then ) but i really want to go this year. i will see what i can do.

 

You're going to make me cry Jen! Didn't you hear that another one of our Rochester buddies died in a bike crash on Sat night.

Plus, at Sat night's party I was wearing Rochester Adam's Steel Beaded necklace, which was an honor. The girl I brought with me used to live with Adam and was given those beads after he crashed. I wore them with pride, knowing Adam would have been at that party if he was still alive. A part of him was with me that night.

thats why i felt this thread needed a bump. i guess phil is going to try to go to work late that day so we can make it.

my heart goes out to the friends and family of adam and john rest-in-peace boyz.
and lets all be a little more careful out there. i really don't want to see anymore of these threads. i dont think any of us do.
