• Karl E. Carlock, 19, of 616 Elm St., Maple Park, was arrested on several charges, including a felony charge of fleeing and eluding a police officer at 1:26 a.m. Wednesday on Randall Road near Main Street, Batavia Township, according to police reports. Police said Carlock was speeding on a Suzuki motorcycle. When the officer activated his lights, Carlock began going 100 in a 50 mph zone, reports said. Carlock eventually got away, police said. The officer found Carlock at his home and issued him with several other charges including reckless driving; speeding; driving with a suspended license; improper lane usage and use of registration; disobeying a stop sign and a red light; and operating a vehicle without insurance. Carlock's bond was set at $50,000, and he was unable to post bail, police said. He is scheduled to appear in court April 25.

$50,000 bail? Was he raping a senior citizen and sacraficing a small farm animal at the time too? 50K seems just a bit excesive doesn't it.

 

if he was in boston he wood get driving to endanger or the cops will crash in to him.

 

I don't think so considering he ran. I think you only have to pay 10% of it....which would be $5K.

 

Wow thats serious... my question is why would you even think about running when you are flying a licence plate???? You pretty much lose your right to run when you bolt on your plate.

That sucks. I agree with Shugg, if you hang a plate you really dont have the option to run.

 

man that sucks. JUst pull over, I'd rather get a ticket for 20 over than 'cuffs. NO plate though??? That's up to you. And 5 g's??? That's another BIKE to ME!

Oops! Driving on a suspended license with a plate, why would you do that? I'm so glad I'm totally legal.......well, that is until the front or rear tire leaves the ground!
