40mph over the limit is automatic 6 month license suspension in NY... if they are cool theyll reduce it, but dont count on it, especially sicne they admitted they were doing 100 already (that will def be in the report....

Nah, I got a 126 in a 60 in my Trans-Am when I had it, funny thing was, I wasn't the one speeding. Make a long story short, I passed the cop at 60, another car passed him a bit later doing 126mph, THAT car passed me up the road like I was standing still, cop goes down the road, pulls ME over and I take the fall for the guy that was speeding. Was ****ing bullshit indeed, but all I got was deferred judication. If it was in Texas, get deferred. Basically on probie for 6 months, don't get a ticket in the county you recieved this ticket in and you'll be okay, after the 6 months and no tickets, it gets off your record, no insurance companies know anything about it.

, I beat the jail time, suspension of license, not on driving record, got the comm serv reduced to 24hrs, and probation ends as soon as I pay the remaining $300 of the fine. **** sucks, I coulda had a newer bike if wasn't for that. Re: 160 in a 60= trouble????

thats how it works here also, its called probation before judgment, last one year for the county you got the ticket in. and they never catch on, i have been put on PPJ in the same county 5 different times within a year...
