mercury stick kinda like a thermometer
has four hoses that hook to little lines on carbs
then make sure that all four mercury lines are even

or take it to a shop

carbs

yea like digidy said but mine are'nt mercury guages, mine are a newer style guage but same concept for operation. its not a hard job, but i am a technician for a living so for me it was easy, not sure of your technical abilities but it is a job can be done at home by yourself. i can get nice guage sets pretty cheap to (about $115.00). and they work on twins, fours, fuel injected bikes(throats), etc.
so pm me if you interested.
