Question Pit question?

Hey B or whoever might know this info...

I was asking my new landloard about pits cause I was planning on adopting one of the puppies, and he tells me some **** about NO PITS because of insurance liability, says you have to insure the dog itself for 10k just for being a bred pit. And he doesn't want to be responsible, I've never heard of this, what's the deal?

pitt bulls are on the agresive breeds list

rottwieler
doberman
chow
etc..

all home owners are to have a insurance policy on the animals and its alot more than 10 k

they range from 100 k to a million dollar policies
and yes my dogs are insured

It's because of the BAD publicity they get, WE ALL know that they are the sweetest dogs you could own. They get a bad rap!! They NEVER show on the news that someone got bit from a golden retreiver, or LABS but it happens. But they are just too sweet to do anything like that. NOT! Its so bad that most places wont except Staffordshire Terriers (smaller breed of PB's)

Hey guys, I'm buying a new home now and you wouldn't believe the B.S. I'm getting because I have an English Bull Terrier and Pitbull Terrier. Some places wont even consider me never mind a surplus of Insurance.

I help with the local Pitbull Rescue League. There are studies that show Pitbulls are better family pets then 98% of all other breeds. Half the time you hear about a "pitbull attack" its not even a pitbull.

I'm so sick of closed minded idiots that believe everything on TV. The only thing my dogs would do is lick you and wip you with there happy go lucky tails! Bad Rap is right! Its the only rap they have and they are such get pets!

Another thing......It makes me sick to think that people still try and fight these great dogs. When pet lovers for the last decade have been trying to breed that out of the Pitbull. It only takes one to ruin it for the rest!
