lol ill bet my car that dakota doesnt run anywhere near 13's you cant even paint the rollpan or cowl induction hood never mind buy an m1 intake, torque convertor, gears, supercharger plus the nitrous itd take to 11's once, go to www.dakotart.com and look what kinda mods it takes to even run 13's in those slow *** trucks
not easily, ive seen acouple turbo r/t's the 4.7 v6 runs better with turbo. plus there sooo much **** to adress with those stupid trucks, transmission is junk, rear end is junk, entire suspension is junk. plus hes got the club cab which is frigin 4800lbs. those trucks just arent worth modifying...matt go on aol ya posting bastid

LOL, i got slips to prove my times. i have a friend in jersey still NA running 13.27. the tranny is fine in the truck as long as it has the HD towing with the tranny cooler or an aftermarket cooler. you can push 600hp through it for 5-10k before it blows. it will last longer if you put a performance VB in it. i wont have to worry because im putting a T-56 behind it wayy before it blows up. the rear end is STOUT. i know guys pushing over 700 ft/lbs with no problems in the rear. some guys have blow the clutch packs because of too many nitrous launches with slicks. not a big deal, they just swapped to a locker and its good. my truck weighs 4400# stock, mine is probably 4100-4200 right now, soon to be lighter. the suspension is fine, i will mod it for high speed. my roll pan hasnt been painted because its cracked and i dont have the money for the one i want ($800 with supra tails). that will be welded in in march along with a new paint job (600RR yellow with ghost flames). they didnt make a CF hood for the truck, a few of us had them custom made through elite customs, which he now sells, but they're not great quality, but only weigh 24 pounds (stock is 65 i belive). and i have no clue why you compared a 4.7 OHC to a pushrod 5.9 as far as being turboed? they're two totally different motors. if you really think the truck isnt worth modifying, feel free to race for slips this summer
