Should I try to put a breaker bar on the rod and bend it back or just leave it alone? That's really what I was wondering.....

It doesn't help that I am way out of shape. I hear 2 conflicting ways to start a 450.

1) Lean the bike over until fuel dumps out of the overflow. Pull choke, use full kicks, and don't twist the throttle.

2)Lean the bike over until fuel dumps out of the over flow, activate the choke, twist throttle 4-6 times (accelerator pump), kick a couple times until bike runs for a few seconds then dies, then twist throttle 2-3 times and kick until it runs.

It's a 650, but that's still a pretty good price.

if it's under 60 degrees my 230 takes a long time to warm up and idle well......gotta leave it on half choke for about 15-20 minutes even above 60......but that's the norm accordning to what I've read on thumpertalk.

Good deal. You could always go 701 later on or throw a big bore in there.
