Re: Track riding

biggest thing ive ever hauled with my jeep was this thing called a dingo, which is like a small skidsteer. IT wasnt too heavy itself, but it came on an enormous equipment trailer that i had to get a pintle hitch for.

damn .....

"Update: June 2010 - The sweet 4.4L V8 diesel engine that was rumored to go in the F-150 is going into a Land Rover! You heard that right. The 4.4L V8 diesel engine that is a Ford engine, produced in the Ford Chihuahua engine plant in Mexico, will not make it to the American market in the forseeable future. It is destined for Europe, and not in any Ford products. Better luck next time Diesel F150 fans! I suppose it may make it to the F-150 some day, but for now we're not optimistic."

maybe theres some reason we dont know about that makes diesels not as good as we think they are. it just seems like a half ton diesel is such a win, i dont get it.

btw, gm put diesels in half ton tahoes and suburbans for a couple years, but that was their old shitty diesel, not the duramax

only downfall with the subarus is not a real high mpg ...

They had them in full size blazers too, but I think only for the military/fleet market.

get a manual boost controller and turn it all the way down

also removing the rear wheel drive would give it a little more mpg, but then its just some boring econo box at that point

good point ... EU wins again

yeah the best mileage in a vehicle we are looking at is the turbo vw CC .... that's more of a luxury type ride than a "sport sedan" like the subarus ...
