Throggs neck usually isn't that bad, but it was particularly windy that afternoon. Never ride the lower level of the VZ again...

My friend has 285/75-16's on his, which figures out to about a 33x11.5. When he gets back to work later, I'll see if it looks like there's much more room there. He might know what you can get away with too. His is a 1999 extended cab diesel.

What's a leveling kit for yours consist of? Is it just an add-a-leaf for the front or do they use blocks?

I think I can go either way ... I need to look into it more. I also thought of like a 1" block in the back and 2" in the front ...

Re: Doing the wheelies

on my 98 ram i have 35" tall tires, but they aren't as wide b/c i'm using the stock 16" wheels and they are only 7" so i couldn't put 35x12.5 on it.

if you have the frame jacked up to put blocks in, its really not that much more work at that point to do springs

Yeah don't do blocks. do springs if you are going through all the work to lift it. it is a lot of work to do either. longer break lines, new brackets for ****. lots of dumb **** that you don't think about.
